Titan’s Vehicle Messaging Systems or what Titan calls a “TMS” device is a state-of-the-art, highly
advanced unit capable of monitoring and controlling your vehicle via SMS text technology anywhere you have
GSM/GPRS cellular phone coverage. This unit is designed to operate as a stand-alone unit and integrate with your vehicle’s factory security system and/or a
variety of aftermarket alarm systems. This unit is designed specifically to operate with “Titan” brand remote starters. It will, however, integrate with a large
number of other aftermarket brands of remote starters.
Features and Capabilities
The TMS100 Titan Vehicle Messaging System is a device that will allow the user to send and receive messages both to and from their vehicle. The TMS100 has two primary capabilities. The first is to receive Alerts/Notifications via SMS Text Message to your cell phone if your vehicle’s factory or aftermarket alarm has been triggered. At this time the TMS100 will either send the owner an “Alarm Sound” Message or an “Intrusion Alert” Message. An “Intrusion Alert” Message is sent to inform the user that not only has their vehicle’s alarm been triggered, but one of their doors has been opened as well. At this time, the user can send a “Starter Kill” Command Message to their Titan TMS100 to turn on their ignition kill, disabling their vehicle’s ability to start.
The TMS100 has a built in back-up battery to allow the device to send a battery disconnect “Power Cut” Alert Message informing the owner that their vehicle’s battery power has just been cut which happens during many auto theft / break-in situations.
Your Titan TEXTSTART Vehicle Messaging System has the capability of integrating with most aftermarket Remote Starters that have a “negative input to start” input.
By simply sending a Text Message to your TMS100 system, you can not only send a command to start your remote starter, you will also receive a Two-Way Text Message back to the cell phone that you sent the message from, confirming that your Titan TEXTSTART System received and executed your starting command.
